Oral Fuentes Reggae Band is a mixture of Reggae with an Afro/Latin Fusion. The band consists of members from Belize, St. Lucia, Ghana, Nigeria, Philippines, Seattle USA, and Canada.
Moving to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in the early ‘90s, Oral teamed up with musicians from Saskatoon, playing everything from the SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, to Calgary Reggae Festival, Long Day’s Night Music Festival, Ness Creek Music Festival, Regina Folk Festival, and many other festivals and cultural shows. Oral has shared the stage with Maceo Parker from James Brown Band, Divine Brown, Ivana Santilli, Toronto’s Jason Wilson, the African Guitar Summit, and Atlanta Georgia rap icons (Arrested Development to name a few).
The band has 2 albums -- Their 1st album 'Oral Culture' is followed by their 2nd album 'Rise Up'.
Oral Fuentes Band writes and performs all originals.
